Now the hiatus created between the two governing bodies i.e; FDCI and fashion foundation of India would be minimized. The new Fashion Design promotion council aka FDPC will bind them in one string, and the best part is that 1/4th of the resources will be used for promoting young, new designers. For NIFT graduates a total of 5% membership is already booked.

2. The Paris Haute Couture week ended with The maverick John Galliano show,with the "Jai Ho...." -Rehman tune.
India is only recognized when some firangs take initiative to probe into.Although it wasn't Rehman at his best or Gulzar even.. a score of times earlier also they have rendered legendary compositions, but then there was no "white chamdi" to back them then!

what can be extracted from all real and ethreal past is that, we should strategise everything we do. Get a good backing but never lose ur integrity and your "USP " as they say...
I guess thats the reason why good films like Rang de basanti, taare zameen par, lagaan couldnt gain worldwide acclaim.
