Orissa is a beautiful Land. Full of aesthetic kaleidoscope inside out! What better it could have been than to start a new year like this -2012 in this vicinity. We had a family trip to the area , purpose being the 'Indian Science Congress' from January 2nd to 7th. I thoroughly enjoyed that Interactive session with Dr. APJ Abdul kalam, Mrs.Nirupama Rao,Women conference, interaction with such great noble laureates and learned faces brimming with joy of learning and knowledge!The Natural beauty spread all over nandan Kanan Zoo, Chilka lake, Temple at every step, divinity and charm associated with these are few things that will leave you spellbound. Every wall seemed to be adorned with the wall mural paintings . The bright color and sketching motifs of the pat-chitras is something to adore. I used to boast about my recent foray in painting walls of my home, but Orissa left me peeping away for another chance.Delecacies like chakuli, pitha, chena jalebi, luchi-cholar dal, rosgulla made of jaggery leave such a sweet taste in the mouth. The sea, sand , beach, shells that me and Bhaiya gathered on the shores, transferred us into the childhood again. Not only this trip rejuvenated all of us , but also made that breathtaking fluid of harmony, flow with more dynamism. We started looking things with more open eyes since then. Indeed what great land India is! More you travel, the more you crave to do that again!  To break the daily monotony, it becomes imperative to travel to such places time and again.
