After the sad story of tannery jury, we all were hot at heels.....really sad and that "drawing room ke vir" wali spark of rebel had already kindled. So we decided to do something different.
Raman had a swelling in her eye, so she had planned to go back to her PG and sleep, Ruchi was also not feeling well, Ishani, Mona and Sheeza planned for a movie, may be Rock on! I had no clue how it would turn out to be, still, I agreed, I'm ever ready to take such leads! that day our clg had a seminar in which some VIPs like Manish Arora, Rina Dhakka, Ashish Soni, Tarun Tahilyaani etc and some textile minister were there, an exhibition was also on the floor, still we prefered our movie. how great are we! But it was Monday afternoon 3.00p.m. and we all had no clue, where could we get the tickets, but no matter we all reached PVR Priya at 3.20, and lo! the show was for 10.45 p.m. So taking a quick decision we moved on to PVR Saket, the auto wallah during the whole journey of 15-20 minute was constantly threatened by Ishani "bhaiya agar humaari movie miss huyi to aapke 60 Rs to gaye..." so on and so forth... I felt a little sympathy for bechare auto wale bhaiya, we would see rock on or not , but we had definitely put many huge rocks on his head to drive fast. :D
Ultimately we reached there, but alas the hall was house full. Little disappointed, we again got up and went to select city walk , where the 5.00 p.m. show had lowermost left hand corner seats leftover, Sheeza stopped us, or we would have bought the tickets, and thank God she did that as there was more in store for us.
We again went back to Saket PVR... A sign board read-" clean Saket, green Saket" I used to tease bhaiya ,calling him harabhara saket bhaiya, ha ha
Neways, again here the 7.oo p.m. show was jammed packed! disheartened and disappointed, we moved to Mc D's, had burger and frappes, moved out and headed towards the book stall, although I had only 200 left in pocket, but no use, we dint watched the movie. So that bookworm inside me started forcing towards the bookstall, Meanwhile, Ishani and Sheeza for a last chance went to try getting tickets, Me and Mona [I call her miku, She calls me chiku, for no specific reason and we both together are like a good comic book ha ha] had lost all hopes, so we strolled around the book stalls, me watching books, she watching me uninterestingly , how mad a person could be[ buying book in lieu of movie ticket]:)
and then we did it finally! Ishani, along with Sheeza managed to get a 7.30 p.m. show. For the safety reason and also some sort of authenticity, I made bhaiya also our partner in crime [lol] we bought his ticket also and he reached there on time . Meanwhile , to while away our leisure hours from 2 hours from 5.30 to 7.30, we sat on a bench and discussed everything that could be discussed under the Sun, Dressing senses, People walking too and forth, rights and wrongs,[Sheeza talking to her very dear friend on phone] ;) and on and on, time flew away.
But movie was the ultimate fun. I loved it. unmoved from the place, we remained glued to the seat till the end. Indeed great screen appearances. Mesmerizing, magnanimous, I've run short of adjectives. Afterall , fruit of such hard effort ought to have been sweet na! :D
The show ended and thus ended our melodramatic day. We also vouched to watch "the last lear " May God grant our wish, Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
