biological mimicry

  • Temperature shooting up to 44-45 degrees ,that too when April has just ended and May has not even touched its infancy!
  • Scorching Sun, casting its spell on everyone with vindictive Sun burns, Sun spots, Viral flu visible practically on everyone.
  • Power cuts in National Capital Of India, that too for more than 3 hours daily. What hardships people in small states and towns face, can metropolis understand better now and empathize?
  • All due to negligence on people's part. Green house gas emission, carbon dating, global warming, Ozone depletion, how many of us do really bother to learn about these? We learnt this once in our class 8th-9th -10th social science curriculum ,but preferred to consider them mere papers of the book that has to be mugged up and gradually forget!
  • We all knew that CFC [chloro-flouro carbon] emission is also a prime danger , but never hesitated in opening Refrigerator's door innumerable times!
  • We burned LPG fuels even to run our vehicles, although we knew that there could be acute shortage, leading to unavailability for cooking food also one day.
  • Never thought of switching off cars, bikes during traffic, or for the matter of fact, why use cars and bikes for such petty distances? Why don't we rely on our legs or bicycles to travel small distances? No we wont, it doesn't match our comfort level!
  • All were taught to plant trees in SUPW [socially useful and productive work] classes. But, none of us took initiative after school to plant a single sapling! why? because we are lazy!
  • Uncontrollable expansion of cities and unprecedented deforestation has almost finished forest cover. Animal population will soon reach zero mark.
  • We didn't cared because we weren't suffering, but now there is no other option.
  • Every time you cannot blame politicians for not ruling well, defence people for not guarding us well, Scientists for not discovering/inventing a remedy....and so on !
  • Its we who matter now. what have we done that can be anticipated to bear sweet fruits? Practically suggesting, nothing at all!

We have just mimicked! Impersonated nature's best gifts and painted them ugly by over-use. Now its time to just bear the consequence. As you sow, so shall you reap!

If you want better lives.... "let live" ! every tree has a life, don't dare cut it, fuels are not personal, do not waste it, water does not have a huge resource , don't use it beyond your share.

Though I admit that wastage of anything is repented by the one wasting it some or the other time , but If every tree has a life it will ultimately end,
Fuel is bought by hard earned money so why isn't it personal? 3/4th of earth is water so how much more water is required now!!!!
