De-Fragmentation 4

You start growing up. Enough of walking on the path already chalked out. There is whole set of things already that are waiting to be witnessed. Need was to just open your eyes and seek.... Look out happiness in minutest of details. Observe and select things. Listen , see and feel everything yet indulge in only those which your heart and brain unanimously allow you to.

• NIFT is full of creative brains and there is huge scope of experimentation and innovation , howsoever expensive that might be.
• Also you will find phsycos, weirdos , maniacs and lunatics at every step. Step inside NIFT's gate and erase all images that you might have had of conventional studies and college going experience.
• People are not at all concerned with each other. They are all lost in their own world. Yet this is only till they are not friends to you. The moment they become your friends, you get a scratch and they will start with oh ! Aah! Ouch.... proceeding more towards femininity. That is why fashion has been a harbinger of feminism, feminists and girl characters, along with the actual girls ruling the scene! ;)
• Being always involved in some kind of creative activity makes you more soft hearted and sensitive, it breaks all ice and forces you to be more social.
• All sleepless nights with huge mountain of workload and comparatively short sighted deadline gives you a feeling that you are dead now, OK sometime later! but yes you are dead ! ;P
• Stationary shop and the whole family of uncle, aunt, Didi [who scolded if any one mistaken called her aunt-otherwise she was quite active and sweet] and her child who grew up in front of our eyes ;were all a happy change-although prices were sky high for the stationary articles.Those big pattern making white/brown sheets, L scale, T scale, metre scale, french curve, hip curve, pen, pencils, innumerable metres of muslin/poplin fabrics, colorful yarns, metallic wires, buttons, zippers etc were like daily consumables.
• The NIFT lingo as such is not so developed because conversation in itself is not so prominent yet things like vellapanti, koi na, COE submission, test fits, slopers, paper mocks, croqui, dress forms[initially it could be mannequins too], churaofied, tepna, scotch tape for cello tape, half fronts, VT for veg tanned leather, dm for stating area of leather,specs for specification sheet etc etc...list can go on.
• Cool faculties who are also there on FB and orkut and friends with you.
• Yet administration works like a 'sarkari daftar' with many inadequacies and large amount of time to process any legal work.
• The first time u knew that even girls smoke and world is so full of drunkards and addicts! Perhaps once again felt like a frog out of your small shabby well! Yet that Well was so dearly full of happy misconceptions!
• Your few months turn into semesters, semesters into years and time flies away rapidly. You have no time to get indulged into any activity other than the present what's given.
• You start taking stories as if they are happening in a third world ,out of your own and then, things stop bothering you. You have more ears to listen to and more patience to fill up any one's void.
• That is when, you start finding happiness in everything. You believe that you are happy and that gives you strength.
• Its time to disseminate this strength to all,to cheer up and grow once again!
